A quiet birthday party

On June 19 2011 was my son's 21st birthday. As he was sitting for his semester exams there wasn't any celebration. Lagi pun Faiz tak mau apa-apa. Present pun tak mau. Tak apa... hadiah boleh datang kemudian. Kesian anak mama ni... hanya card saja mama mampu beri. Pada hari itu dia hanya potong kek banana chocolate, itu pun kongsi dengan Hari Bapa. Jadi satu kek share 2 occasion. "Selamat hari lahir anakku. Semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki, sihat walafiat dan maju jaya. Jangan lupa suruhan Allah."

INSAF LAH

Bila dunia jadi sepi, senyap dan sunyi;
Hati pilu tidak terperi;
Apakah ini mimpi ngeri????
Atau realiti!!!!!
Dia pergi tidak kembali;
Kini....tiada lagi teman sejati.

Gementar tubuh seketika;
Gelap pandangan dihadapan mata;
Hidup sekarang teraba raba;
Baru teringat yang maha kuasa.

Sejadah, lama ditinggalkan;
Kiblat, arah mana perlu dihadapkan;
Quran, ingat kah lagi tajwid dan idgham;
Yasin, fasih kah lagi lidah melafazkan,
Zikir, mengubat jiwa yang kusam.

Ingat!!!!
Dalam setiap pergerakan
Islamkah zahir itu;
Tertutupkah aurat itu;
Dalam kelapangan dan kesibukan;
Dalam kesenangan dan kesusahan;
Siapa yang akan menolong, TUHAN....

Anak anak janganlah derhaka;
Ingat kepada ibu dan bapa;
Kalau mencari cinta;
Biarlah kerana nya;
Dalam memilih teman;
Biarlah yang beriman.

Wahai anak Adam!!!!!
Dengan titisan air mata;
Angkatlah kedua tanganmu;
Mohon ampun atas segala dosa;
Bertaubatlah dan sujudlah;
Sebab diri ini milik yang berkuasa.

FASTING IN ISLAM Part 4

The Believers spend this month of Mercy
in acts of worship to seek forgiveness for their
sins and protection from falling into evil ways.

While good deeds and behaviour earn divine
rewards at all times, the rewards for the same
acts are manifold during this blessed month.
Thus Ramadan is also a month of increase in
acts of charity to please Allah The Most Merciful.

The Believers perform these acts with
a deep sense of gratitude (shukur) to Allah
The Giver of all bounty for blessing humanity
with the noble month of \ramadan.

The Believers view the act of fasting as
a holistic exercise by striving to keep their
eyes, ears, tongues, hands and feet - and
all the other organs - free from sin.
This is the true fasting.

The true fasting goes on after the physical
fasting has ended. One who has experienced
it would long for the whole year
to be like the month of Ramadan.

"There are two pleasures for the fasting
person: one at the time of breaking the fast
and the other at the time when he will meet
his Lord; then he will be pleased because
of his fasting." [Bukhari]

There is nothing like the fast of Islam in
any other religion for realizing physical
and spiritual well being.
